Horror: See the Terrifying Moment Man Opened Fire on People With Machine Gun at Las Vegas Concert

 

 

A video has shown the terrifying moment that a gunman appeared to open fire on gig crowds during a festival in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.

 

In the video, the rattle of a machine gun can be heard over country music singer Jason Aldean at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival before eventually being cut.

 

The gunshots continue to sound for several minutes after the music stops as people run for their lives or try to find cover.

 

Police are currently looking for at least one active shooter, although witnesses say that there may be other people on the run. People are being urged to stay away from the Strip following the incident which happened while a country music concert was taking place.

 

Police tweeted: ‘We’re investigating reports of an active shooter near/around Mandalay Bay Casino. Asking everyone to please avoid the area.’

 

Officer Aden Ocampo-Gomez says deputies are heading to the scene Sunday near Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

 

University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in ‘several’ people with gunshot wounds. She didn’t have any more immediate information.
