Fugees Star, Lauryn Hill, will not be headlining the 2015 May Day Live Concert, which was slated to hold at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, following issues with her flight from America to Nigeria.
The much anticipated 2015 May Day Live concert, which was slated for Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State, has been rescheduled.
The concert, which had member of defunct Fugees, Lauryn Hill, as the headlining act, was canceled to the disappointment of fans, after the organizers failed to make adequate arrangement for her flight to Lagos from her America base.
The award winning songstress, who expressed disappointment that she would not be able to peform in Lagos tonight, however, consoled music lovers with the announcement that arrangements are in top gear to reschedule her appearance at a later date.

Meanwhile, the organizers, X-MEDIA NIGERIA, have confirmed that due to "flight issues", the concert had to be postponed after due consultation with Ms Hill's management.
In a statement, the organizers announced that "Tickets bought will be used for the new concert date" and as a form of compensation, "a party will still hold today at Eko Hotel starting from 7pm".
The May Day Live concert, according to the CEO of X-MEDIA, Chuma Ajufor, is aimed at celebrating workers’ day in Nigeria with a rich blend of entertainment.
