After 3-hours of labour, Kate Middleton gives birth to a baby girl

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has given birth to her second child - a princess on Saturday morning. The Duchess, who entered early stages of labour, was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in London earlier today where she put to bed.

In what could be described as the most anticipated news surrounding the birth of a child – not just any child but royalty, the Kensington Palace has announced that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is in the early stages of labor and has been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
 

Middleton is reportedly one week overdue and is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital following unconfirmed reports she was induced.

Although rumors that Middleton is carrying a girl have been swirling with the recent breakfast sent to The Royal baby watchers camped at the hospital with pink ribbons further confirming such rumours in the media, the Duchess and her husband, Prince William, haven’t revealed the baby’s sex, who is fourth in line to the throne of England.

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby girl.

The new princess was born around 8.34am this morning, May 2nd weighing 8lbs 3oz.

News of the princess' birth was announced with a notice attached to the railings outside Buckingham Palace around 11am on Saturday.
