American superstar, Akon, has bought a bullet-proof van said to be worth around $350,000 for an unnamed African President. Speculations are rife however, President Macky Sall of Senegal, is the owner of the car.

Senegal-born American singer/songwriter/actor/producer, Akon, has reportedly bought an 8-seater, bullet-proof van for a yet-to-be revealed African President.

The Konvict Music boss, according to TMZ, reportedly ordered the armoured van - a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter, worth around $350,000 for an African president.

The report went on to claim that Akon initially purchased the van in 2014 but requested for its upgrade to a bullet proof vehicle.
Speculations are now rife the 'lonely' singer bought the armoured van for Senegal President, Macky Sall.
