Jay Z and Beyonce splash $2.6m on historic New Orleans home

Number one entertainment couple, Jay Z and Beyonce, have coughed out a whopping $2.6 million on a new home in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The couple, who are said to have a combined networth of around $1 billion, reportedly purchased an historic seven-bedroom, eight bathroom property, which used to be the Westminster Presbyterian Church, in the city’s upmarket Garden District, according to E! News.

The Spanish Baroque estate was built in 1925 and features an open-concept design, with three separate apartments.

The 13,292 square-feet sprawling property, which spans three floors, also boasts a luxurious master suite with an antique claw-foot bathtub and the biggest green rooftop deck in the city.
