Weird reports from Australia reveal how the staggering fart of a large number of animals grounded a plane due to fire threats.
An aeroplane was forced to make an emergency landing after the farts of 2,186 sheep was mistaken for smoke in the cargo hold setting off a fire alarm.
The Singapore Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter plane, which was en-route from Sydney, Australia to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, was diverted to Bali Denpasar on October 26 following the urgent announcement.
Upon landing, emergency services boarded the aircraft which was carrying four crew members and the flock of sheep however reported that there was no trace of fire, heat, or smoke.
Further investigations traced the fire alarm to the intensity of the collective fart of the 2,186 sheep being transported.
Sheepmagazine.com say that sheep become gassy and bloated when stressed, so that explains the excessive flatulence that was plenteous enough to force a plane to land.
