Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, says President Bola Tinubu can only win the Federal Capital Territory in the 2027 presidential election by rigging.

He made the claim in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.

Ayodele said support for Tinubu is falling in the North and that voters there plan to vote him out.

He said God has given the North the power to decide who rules Nigeria, and that any candidate without the region's backing is likely to fail.

He also said naming Abdulazeez Yari as campaign director general will not change things, because northern voters have already made up their minds.

He named several states where he says the ruling party will struggle: Adamawa, Katsina, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto and Bauchi.

He said Yobe, Gombe and Kebbi are divided.

He added that Tinubu could still change the situation if he acts wisely.

Ayodele also said Nigeria's name is spiritually contaminated and is affecting leadership.

He predicted that the name will one day be changed.
