Chief Olu Falae's aide has disclosed that the traumatized former SSG, has traveled to the United Kingdom to have proper medical check-up following his abduction by Fulani herdsmen.

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, has reportedly jetted out of the country to the United Kingdom for a thorough medical treatment, five weeks after his kidnap and release.
It can be recalled that he was
abducted by some Fulani herdsmen on his farm
in Ilado village, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State on his birthday. He was later released after
the family paid a ransom of N5 milliion
to the kidnappers after spending 72hours in their den.
The octogenarian politician has
identified the suspects after they were arrested
from their hideouts by the Police in different states.
It was revealed yesterday that the Politician decided to seek for a thorough medical attention in London following the injuries and trauma he went through in the hands of his captors.
His Personal Assistant, Captain Moshood Raji (rtd ) confirmed that the former minister has traveled out of the country for medical check up, adding that the politician "had not been able to have enough rest after the abduction saga."
According to him. "Chief Falae would used the opportunity of the vacation to do some other things which include medical treatment."
He added that "Chief traveled to the United Kingdom on vacation and would also have his medical check up there, but he is expected to be back by the end of this month."
