The cure and treatment for Coronavirus might have been found as a Chinese woman infected with the virus showed dramatic improvement after she was treated with a cocktail of anti-virals.
Thailand’s health ministry said Sunday that the cocktail of anti-virals used to treat flu & HIV was given to the Chinese woman infected with Coronavirus and after 48 hours of the treatment, she tested negative for the virus.
Thai doctors administered the combination to the 71-year-old patient, doctor Kriengsak Attipornwanich said during the ministry’s daily press briefing.
“The lab result of positive on the coronavirus turned negative in 48 hours,” Kriengsak said.
“From being exhausted before, she could sit up in bed 12 hours later.”
The doctors combined the anti-flu drug oseltamivir with lopinavir and ritonavir, anti-virals used to treat HIV, Kriengsak said, adding the ministry was awaiting research results to prove the findings.
The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian, also confirmed that a cure has been found during a press conference in Abuja on Monday. Pingjian said Chinese scientists were working to develop a vaccine for the virus, assuring that the epidemic would lose its momentum in the next two weeks.
He said;
“All things considered, the epidemic can be contained, controlled and treated. The Chinese nation has gone through great winds and waves and overcome countless difficulties. .

The 1000 bed makeshift hospital in Wuhan, which was built in 9 days and is in full operation today, speaks volumes.”
