Nigeria's former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has broken his silence following the brutal massacre of 30 persons by Boko Haram on Sunday.

Former Presdential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has commiserated with families of about
30 innocent persons killed in a brutal attack launched by Boko Haram insurgents in Auno Village, Borno State.
In a tweet he shared, Atiku stated that Nigerians cannot afford to stay divided in the face of a common enemy.
He tweeted:
“We can’t afford to stay divided in the face of this common enemy. I sympathise with the bereaved families.
“These incidents, one too many, should make us explore all possible options to put a stop to this scourge.”
