Shocker! Mother And Her Baby Found With Their Heads Cut Off Near Primary School in In Ile-Ife

The headless bodies of two persons believed to be a mother and her baby have been found near a primary school in Ile-Ife, Osun State, The PUNCH reports.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, said the corpses were dumped opposite the AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Ile-Ife.

Residents of the area told our correspondent that the corpses must have been dumped at the scene on Tuesday evening.

They explained that the bodies were without clothes, while the baby was wearing a diaper.

“When the corpses were found, we contacted officials of the local government council in the town and they have evacuated the bodies and deposited them in the morgue,” Opalola stated.

The PPRO said the state Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, directed a thorough investigation into the incident with a view to bringing to justice the perpetrators.

She urged members of the public to provide information that would assist the police to get to the root of the matter.
