Man Arrested for Raping Jogging Woman and Then Using Her Credit Card (Photo+Video)

 

 

A sex pervert identified as 28-year-old Paul Niles has been arrested after he used the credit card of his rape victim.

 

He was caught by video surveillance as he cashed money using the credit card of the woman he repeatedly raped as she was jogging on a lonely street.

 

New York City police said the incident that took place on Wednesday approximately 7:30 p.m. The 26-year-old woman was jogging in East River Park near Cherry Street, when the suspect, who was on a bicycle, approached her and motioned to her to be quiet.

 

The victim turned and ran in the opposite direction. However, the suspect grabbed her by the hair, put his arm around her neck and dragged her to the amphitheater by the park’s Grand Street footbridge, where he raped and stole her credit card.

 

The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital, where she was treated and released. The rapist surrendered to police after videos showed him using the victim’s credit card at a nearby store.
