Heavy traffic gridlock has been witnessed in Port Harcourt as PDP members poured out in thousands to partake in a peace procession.

There was a heavy traffic gridlock on Aba road in Port Harcourt today as members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP embarked on a Peace procession which it dubbed 'White Friday'
Vanguard reports that the Chairman of the party in the state, Mr Felix Obuah had in a press statement signed by his media aide, Mr Jerry Needam on Thursday said the procession which will terminate at the School of Arts and Science, Rumuola is to promote values of peace in the state.
The protesters were decked in white attire which the party said symbolised peace.
The governorship candidate of the APC, Dr Dakuku Peterside had said the procession was to remember members of the party allegedly murdered during the period of the last general polls.
