Mother Forces Steel Wool in 12-year-old Son's Eyes for Using Her Eye-makeup (Photo)

A callous woman who hated the new lifestyle of his son embarked on a most barbaric way to put him in check.

A mother who did not like her son's latest changed lifestyle took matters too far by using a steel wool to remove makeup from the son's face and eyes. 
 
The boy suffered blurred vision and may suffer permanent damage to his eyes after the incident, doctors say.
 
The boy's mother identified as Veridiana Erbskorn of Georgia, became angry after her son dyed his hair red, and began wearing a leather jacket and eye makeup. The 47-year-old woman was disgusted and immediately acted.
 
Emergency operators rushed in after the victim's brother called for help. The boy was taken to the Piedmont Newnan Hospital, where medical staff discovered soap on the boy’s face and eyes. The boy also had blurred vision and a scratched eyeball. 
 
Police were called to the hospital, where they found blue soap from the Brillo pads on his right eye socket, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Col. James Yarbrough. 
 
The woman was arrested on charges of child cruelty, reckless conduct and battery. She has been take to the Coweta County Jail while the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services was notified of the incident.
