Nigeria's veteran ace broadcaster, Cyril Stober, has retired from the service at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), ending a career spanning over 3 decades as one of the most prominent and respected faces on screen. 

 

Before the advent of private stations in Nigeria, watching the NTA news at 9:00pm everyday was always a wonderful moment for many families in Nigeria because of the newscaster's passion in his chosen career - broadcasting.
