“I Tried To Surgically Remove My Tribal Marks After Friends Mocked Me” – Linda Osifo Shares Sad Experience

Nollywood actress, Linda Osifo has posted a gorgeous photo of herself on her Instagram page while narrating how she was mocked because of her tribal marks.
Recounting the experience, she said it happened in elementary school in Canada.
She explained that her schoolmates/friends asked her if her marks were as a result of a lion scratch in Africa.
Following the mockery, she revealed that she tried removing the tribal marks surgically in order to be safe.
The importance of having such a tribal mark has now been noticed as she commends it for bringing out her true beauty.
Her post reads:
“BACK IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CANADA, I REMEMBER BEING MADE FUN OF ABOUT MY TRIBAL MARKS AND BEING ASKED IF I GOT SCRATCHED BY LIONS IN AFRICA 🤣🤣. THE TEASING GOT SO BAD THAT I TRIED SURGICALLY TO REMOVE MY TRIBAL MARKS…..(OUCH 🤕). I FELT IT MADE ME SO UGLY AND WEIRD FROM EVERYONE ELSE AROUND ME BECAUSE I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAD IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! NOW THAT I’M ALL GROWN AND WISE, I’VE COME TO REALIZE HOW BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE IT SURE MAKES ME LOOK. TRUE BEAUTY DOES NOT COME FROM PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES…TRUE BEAUTY COMES FROM WHAT IS WITHIN.
