Lagos Judicial Panel Resumes Sitting Without Rinuola And Adegboruwa
The Lagos State Judicial Panel for victims of SARS operatives and extra-judicial killings resumed its sitting today without Ebunolu Adegboruwa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Ebunolu Adegboruwa, the youth representative, Rinuola Oduala after they resigned from the panel.
Recall that while Adegboruwa said last weekend that he was considering his continued participation at the panel following the dehumanisation of the protesters by security operatives on Saturday February 13, Rinuola announced that she will be quitting the panel which gave a nod to the "reopening of Lekki toll gate when justice is yet to be served".
With the absence of the two, seven other members of the panel sat to listen to 10 petitions listed for hearing today February 16.
