Former Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola says President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar are too old to run in the 2027 presidential election.

He made the remarks on Wednesday during an interview.

He said both men should step aside to make way for younger Nigerians.

Oyinlola also said that Tinubu and Atiku have done their best and should now give younger people a chance to lead.

Oyinlola also pointed to a rule he set when he was governor of Osun State.

Based on his experience in office, he said anyone over 50 should not run for state governor.
