A protest has erupted inside a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the United States.
It was gathered that the protesters protested against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari during a service at one of the RCCG branches in New Jersey, the United States.
One of them, Dr. Seyi Adesanya, was displeased with the way Nigeria was being handled and cried frequently, “Say no to Fulani governance!”
According to a report by SaharaReporters, a woman could be heard in footage that surfaced online, talking over the public address system, persuading the protesters to take things easy.
The RCCG members accused their own church of colluding with the Nigerian government to wipe out Yoruba and Igbo from the country.
“You are co-conspirators. RCCG are conspirators. We are Yoruba and Igbo here. They’re killing our people. We won’t take this no more. Nonsense,” one of them said.
However, two other protesters, who were armed with placards containing pictures of the killings going on in Nigeria, displayed them before some church attendants, believed to be government officials.
“This is exactly what is happening; you’re sitting down here in the US. This is what is happening. We won’t take this anymore,” one of them added.
Meanwhile, another protester yelled “Call them!” when someone threatened to get the police involved.
