The embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki who is caught in the web of a false declaration of assets trial at the code of conduct tribunal stormed the Supreme court with a large team of supporters.

Senate president, Bukola Saraki was at Supreme court today for an appeal seeking to stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal which has been lingering since his emergence as the number 3 citizen of Nigeria.

Supreme Court ruling on the five issues raised in the appeal were resolved in favour of the Federal Government on the basis of lack of merit.

Reports have it that Saraki's supporters who had hoped for a victory, left the Apex court premises in a dejected mood. Saraki has issued an official statement on the verdict of the court.
