Former Barca Legend, Xavi Hernandez was confirmed an unveiled as an Al-Sadd player on Thursday, as he begins the next stage of his footballing career in Qatar. The legendary midfielder has penned a 3-year deal with the Middle Eastern outfit and was presented to the media at the club's Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
This comes after Xavi was caught on camera pushing Brazil international, Neymar after they were pictured having an argument during their open top bus trophy parade. Speaking to Sport from Qatar where he is about to start his post-Barca career, Xavi said:
'He (Neymar) was trying to take my shoes off and pushing me when I was on the edge of the bus. I said that they should stop messing about and concentrate on the people that had come out to wave as the bus passed.
These parades are for the people after all. It’s okay to have three or four beers but the parade is for the people and it’s the chance for us to thank them for our support. You can’t just do what you want to do.'
