A man who abducted and killed many little kids has given a chilling interview how he masterfully executed the acts.
Serial child killer, Robert Black
In a sickening video, the man identified as Robert Black revealed how he would target his victims, stall them before pouncing on them.
The chilling audio - made public for the first time - comes from interviews conducted by the Police Service of Northern Ireland ( PSNI ) about the murder of nine-year-old Jennifer Cardy in 1981.
He gave horrific detail of the encounters and how he used his delivery van as a killing machine.
Detectives think Black was talking about actual crimes in the interviews but avoided incriminating himself by claiming to be describing a fantasy, reports the Daily Record
Asked by police what he does in these fantasies, he said: “I look at her, try to guess what age she was maybe.
"I might park up for a couple of minutes, you know, watching her.
“I might see a girl on her own some place and say, ‘Could I, should I, will I?’
“I’d be driving along. I’d see a young girl, I’d get out and talk to her and try to persuade her to get into the van and take her somewhere quiet.”
Asked what the children would be doing, he gave the chilling one-word answer: “Passive.”
Asked to explain, he said: “Well, not helping, but not resisting either.”
Black died last month in Northern Ireland’s Maghaberry prison, where he was serving a total of five life sentences.
He was an opportunist predator who drove all around the UK in his delivery van snatching young girls off the streets, mainly aged eight to 12. He evaded justice for 20 years before police caught him bundling a little girl into his van in the Borders.
In recordings, obtained by the BBC, Black tells officers: “I’m not exactly proud of the way I feel towards young girls.
“There’s a part of me that knows I’m wrong, that knows it’s wrong, that I shouldn’t be doing things like that, I shouldn’t even be thinking things like that.
“But there’s the other part that says, ‘You like it, go on.’”
Black was jailed for killing Susan Maxwell, 11, from Coldstream in the Borders, Caroline Hogg, five from Portobello, near Edinburgh, and Sarah Harper, 10, from Leeds.
He was jailed in 1990 but told police practically nothing.
In 2005 he opened up for the first time when he met DC Pamela Simpson.
Black told her of his sexual fantasies but it soon became apparent that he was speaking about reality.
The Mirror reports that Black was convicted in 2011 of sexually assaulting and murdering Jennifer. After he died, no mourners attended his cremation in Belfast and his ashes were scattered at sea.#
