I Stopped Giving Free Menstrual Pads When Parents Said We Are Trying To Use Their Kids For Rituals - Nigerian Man Says

A Nigerian man identified as Abiola has disclosed that he had to stop offering free sanitary pads to kids after their parents said he was trying to use them for rituals.

He disclosed this via Twitter on Monday, May 1, while reacting to a tweet by a Nigerian medical doctor, Sina, who decried the rising cost of sanitary pads and towels.

“I started giving free menstrual pads in 2019 but had to stop it last year when parents said we are trying to use their kids for rituals,” he said.
