Delete Dead Voters From Register - House of Reps Tell INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been told to delete dead voters from the voter register.
The resolution was reached by the House of Representatives after a motion of Leke Abejide who described irregularities observed during the 2023 general elections.
Abejide, who moved the motion on Thursday May 4 , said his late father’s name was seen in the INEC register.
The lawmakers urged the electoral commission to deregister any voter who doesn’t vote in two election cycles.
