Shocking! Man Caught Running Towards Woman and Pulling Down Her Knickers in Public (Video)

  

 

A CCTV footage showed the moment the man ran towards the woman and suddenly pulled down her knickers right there in public.

 

The woman who was identified as a journalist, Andrea Noel, was seen in the video wearing a pink dress wandering down a street in Condesa, when a pervert suddenly runs up behind her.

 

He lifts up her skirt before pulling her pants down to her ankles, causing the freelance journalist to fall to the floor.

 

The man then sprints off.

 

Andrea obtained the footage of the attack and tweeted it with the words: "If anybody recognises this imbecile please identify him. Women should be able to walk safely."

 

The assault happened on March 8 - International Women's Day.

 

However, the journalist has received a barrage of online abuse and rape threats - for posting footage of her own sexual assault.

 

Andrea said the backlash was indicative of attitudes towards women in Mexico City, where she was walking on Tuesday when a man ran behind her and pulled her underwear down.

 

Despite an outpouring of support for Andrea, the post was also targeted by several vile trolls. 

 

Some said it was Andrea's fault for wearing a short skirt, while others dismissed the assault as a "joke".

 

"I wish you'd been raped, you whore," wrote one troll, while another said: "I would have done the same thing."

 

Andrea screen grabbed the comments and asked Twitter to block the trolls' accounts.

 

Andrea later wrote that the trolling and rape threats "describe exactly the problem facing women in Latin America."

 

She also thanked those who had supported her.

 

"Thanks to the hundreds of people who have supported and helped to silence the rapists and murderers who threatened my future online," she wrote.
