In a sermon, the cleric declared that the prediction about an interim government to be headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was false.
Nigerians have been told to support President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
Prophet Austeen Ikorro of Christ Ambience said this in a recent sermon.
The cleric declared that the prediction about an interim government to be headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was false.
Ikorro, who had in October 2022 prophesied that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate would win, said nothing will stop his inauguration on May 29.
The fiery preacher also faulted some clerics who gave “emotional prophecies” ahead of the polls, advising them to work for the progress of the country.
Ikorro said before the APC primary election, God told him pointedly that Tinubu would emerge victorious and not Osinbajo “as many people expected.”
He recalled “many prophetic fathers” were very careful to speak on the 2023 general elections because it was a sensitive political season.
“Many people, out of sentiment, doubted my prophecy. Against all odds, Tinubu emerged as the presidential flagbearer of the APC.
“Similarly, in October 2022, God told us that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was going to emerge as President of Nigeria. Not Peter Obi, not Atiku Abubakar.
“If I wanted to speak by presumption, of course, I would have followed the bandwagon to say Obi. It’s high time we put sentiments aside and follow the mind of God.
“We saw a trending video on social media that the President-elect would be arrested. This will not happen. Tinubu will be sworn in”, the church leader added.
