Some notorious police officers attached to the Lagos State Police Command have been called out after they bundled some innocent men into their van and forced them to pay N30,000.
A Twitter user, @TobiDaGreatest shared screenshots and photos of the victims who were assaulted by the police officers.

"Police Officers from AREA F Ikeja arrested My Customers Oluwasegun & Ayodeji (Students Of Yabatech & NOUN) Took them to their station, Made them transfer 30K to a POS agent inside the Station and Asked them to delete the Transaction Receipt. They 1st asked for 500K.
They came to Computer Village to fix their PS 4 Console but the technician couldn’t finish on time so they decided to leave only for police Van to park behind them and rough handle both of them.(As you can see that his cloth was torn ), There were another 2 Guys in the Van alrdy.
They were driven to Area F Police station Opposite police Academy at Ikeja and they started their usual threats and piling up Of False allegations. They were asked to bail themselves with 500K but they begged to pay 30K and even had to borrow 4rm one of their friends
They made the N30K transfer to the account of a POS agent already positioned inside the police station and even paid extra 600 for charges. They asked them to delete the Screenshot and allowed them to go. They were beaten and handled like a thief before forcing them into their van
Meanwhile, Ayodeji told me the officers were stinking of Marijuana while they were driving them to their station, He Saïd some guys who were picked on the road are still back there still negotiating their “Bail” . One of the officers even mentioned something like.
“let’s go and raid so so Hotel later this evening “ .. This is where we are in Nigeria. The #EndSars protests didn’t do anything. These officers are still in the business of picking up youths to gather “Weekend money”.. These guys are students, I saw their ID Cards.
They were sweating and crying inside the bus about how the police have collected all they have in their accounts and still made them to borrow."
Reacting Lagos Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the story and wrote:
"The officers have been identified, a team of four led by ASP Ariyo Ezekiel, from Ikeja Division, not Area F.
The POS operator works in the barracks, not the station. The money has been recovered and ready to be returned while necessary disciplinary process has been initiated."
