The immediate-past president, Muhammadu Buhari was welcomed by indigenes as he arrived in his hometown in Daura, Katsina state on Monday, May 29.
Buhari departed Abuja for his home state shortly after his successor, Bola Tinubu, took his oath of office.
Buhari who arrived in Daura in the company of his wife, family members, cabinet members and political associates, was greeted by the excitement of residents of his community who could not hide the fact that they were happy to have him back home.
