Atiku’s Aide Cries Out As Fuel Price Hits N617/litre

Since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government lifted the fuel subsidy in June, fuel prices have skyrocketed from N190/per litre to over N500/per litre.

 
An aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has taken to Twitter to react to the increase in the pump prices of Petrol, known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), from 537 to 617 naira per litre.
 
Daniel Bwala in a Twitter post mocked supporters President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress.
 
Recall that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) had further increased pump prices of Petrol across the country.
 
NNPC filling stations in Abuja witnessed brief queues, particularly the one located along Murtala Mohammed Express road in Kado remained shut for a few hours as the Petrol attendants adjusted their fuel pumps to reflect the new price of 617 naira.

Reacting to the development in a Twitter post on Tuesday, Bwala wrote: “Chai, the price of fuel e dan climb ohh. Walahi tallahi, e Dey hot for pocket. Dollar sep i don climb to 815 naira. Our hop i Dey renew? Lollllll”
