Nazir Danliti, a 23-year-old Keke-NAPEP rider, has reportedly been killed in Yobe.
He was stabbed to death by suspected thieves and his tricycle, stolen in Potiskum local government area of Yobe State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred last Tuesday.
Danliti’s uncle, Mohammed Mukhtar Umar told newsmen that his nephew went out for his business of riding commercial tricycle, Keke-NAPEP on Tuesday, last week but he did not return home as he used to.
“Then we went out to look for him around 9am the following day and we found his corpse at the Damaturu bye-pass Road (Hawan Malka Quarters). The thieves ran away with the NAPEP bike.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Yobe State Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, also said, “the police are on the trail of the perpetrators”.
Recall that, the Command recently called on residents to always cooperate with the Police and sister security agencies operating in the state by giving credible information and reports on any suspicious movement(s), person(s), vehicle(s) or activities at all times.
