Afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor, known as Rema, sent an appreciation message to his senior colleague, Burna Boy, before his soldout show in London.
The ''Calm Down' crooner thanked Burna Boy on his X (previously Twitter) page for being the first person to give him the opportunity to perform at the O2 Arena.
Rema’s statements were made public just minutes before his first O2 Arena engagement. He stated that Burna Boy has always been a huge inspiration to him.
“Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage two years ago. Today, it’s my turn to conquer that same stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema.”
