AFCON 2023: Iwobi, Lookman Return To Super Eagles Starting Line-Up vs Cameroon

Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman are set to reclaim their spots in the starting lineup for Nigeria's round of 16 match against Cameroon on Saturday.

The duo started the Super Eagles’ clash with Guinea-Bissau from the bench.

Iwobi will take the place of Southampton’s Joe Aribo in midfield.

Aribo made his first start at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea-Bissau but put up an underwhelming performance.

Chukwueze has also failed to live up to expectations in Cote d’Ivoire and will be named among the substitutes.

Head coach, Jose Peseiro has the full complement of 25 players at his disposal.
