Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf and Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, the State Hisbah Commander General, have settled their differences.
DAILY POST reported that Daurawa will return to office today, Tuesday.
He had last week announced his resignation following a public criticism of the operation of Hisbah by Governor Yusuf.
The reconciliation was done under the watch and guidance of some high-placed Ulamas in the State who insisted that Daurawa must return and continue his jobs.
The reconciliation was said to be an aftermath of a well attended meeting by the State Council of Ulamas and top Hisbah officials, including some elders.
“The Governor and the Commander General have reconciled. The parties have understood each other and all issues have been resolved amicably,” said a Government House source.
