Two Arrested For Being In Possession Of Toy Pistol In Lagos

The police in Lagos State have apprehended two individuals for possessing a toy pistol.

Disclosing this via his X handle, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the men were arrested during a stop and search operation.

He wrote; ‘’Kyari Idris aged 20 and Abubakar Salisu aged 18 were found with a toy pistol under the seat of their motorcycle by police officers on stop-and-search duty by Agege Railway Police Station.

"The duo then resisted arrest, prompting the officers to call for backup. Investigation is ongoing.''
