A cheeky monkey has done the unthinkable by stealing the phone of a woman after she gave him a nuts. The incident happened in a Chinese zoo.
A hilarious video shows a group of young girls excitedly watching monkeys in an enclosure,one of which initially hides behind a tree.
When one extends a handful of treats the creature is tempted out... but soon scampers away, perhaps threatened by the loudly babbling crowd.
A bigger monkey - the villain of this piece - has no such qualms however and stalks forward.
He reaches out a hand and grabs the tasty morsels offered as the yellow-jacketed girl films her close up encounter.
What does he do in return? The ungrateful primate snakes out him arms, grabs the mobile phone and dashes off back into the trees.
The robbed girl squeals and reaches out for it but it is too late. He has won.
Monkeys have been known to steal phones from tourists before, sometimes even going so far as to take selfies. Many people are still talking about the hilarious encounter.
