Former Miss Taraba Comfort Williams Dies

Former Miss Taraba Comfort Williams has died, according to Prime Planet Event Managers, the company that runs the Mr and Miss Taraba pageant.

The company announced her death in a statement on Monday and called her a former beauty queen and its Assistant Managing Director.

Williams was crowned the 10th Miss Taraba in 2023.

In January 2026, Prime Planet named her Assistant Managing Director as part of a new seven member leadership team.

She had visited Senator Manu Haruna at the National Assembly in October 2024 with other Taraba pageant winners.

The company said her loss has left its team deeply hurt and asked people to remember her.

It did not say how she died.
