Controversial 'X'influencer, Daniel Regha has taken a swipe at Nigerian rapper, Dremo over the diss track he made for his Ghanaian counterpart, Sarkodie in response to his diss at Nigerian artists, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.
Recall that after Sarkodie released his latest single titled “Brag,” in which he dissed Nigeria’s “Big 3” artists, Dremo responded with a diss track.
Offering his perspective, the renowned critic expressed that upon listening to Dremo’s supposed diss track, he found it to consist of basic rhymes devoid of punchlines, delivery, or clever wordplay.
He emphasized that diss tracks are not suitable for everyone and asserted that Sarkodie far outshines Dremo in this regard. He encouraged Dremo to prioritize his growth as an artist.
In a separate post, he highlighted that Sarkodie’s song did not contain any direct insults towards Nigerian artists, as he was simply stating facts. He rated Sarkodie’s song an 8 out of 10.
His words: “Just listened to Dremo’s supposed diss song for Sarkodie. Honestly speaking it’s just basic rhymes with zero punchline, no delivery or clever wordplay; Diss tracks ain’t for everyone, but regardless what happens it doesn’t take away the fact that Sarkodie is by far a superior artiste. Hope he (Dremo) focuses on what’s really important, which is developing as an artiste. No shades.”
