During a recent live broadcast of the TVC program “Your View”, a woman identified as Hauwa from Zamfara state called to complain about the outfit worn by presenter, Tope Mark-Odigi.
Hauwa phoned in to comment on the discussion topic but instead focused on Tope’s attire, suggesting it was inappropriate for a mother and public figure.
Tope responded by stating she would continue to dress as she chose, as long as she adhered to the program’s guidelines.
She also mentioned that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) is the authority responsible for regulating on-air content, including dress code, and she has not received any warnings.
The exchange was cut short by co-presenter Morayo Afolabi-Brown.
The video has sparked diverse opinions online, with some praising Tope for her professional response and others debating the appropriateness of Hauwa’s comments.
