Update: Landlord’s Son Accused Of R@pe Has Been Taken Into Custody

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the son of a Landlord who was accused of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a teenage girl in the Alukoko area of the state.

TORI reported that an X user had cried out for justice for the girl after she was allegedly abused by the Landlord's son.

The X user shared videos and photos showing the bloodied private region of the victim.

The police had earlier visited the compound and in a post shared on X, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the victim and her mother had been unresponsive while the suspect was nowhere to be found.

In a post shared on X this afternoon August 16, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency LDSVA says the suspect is now in custody while the victim is receiving medical attention.
