Yoruba Women Seem To Be The Most Cultured Women In Nigeria - Writer, Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi, the popular Nigerian social commentator, has caused quite a stir with a statement on social media.

The writer is of the opinion that women form the Yoruba ethnic group are the most cultured women in Nigeria. 

According to him, their ability to be educated, successful and till hold conservative family values stand them out.

His opinion which he shared on social media and has sparked a debate online, reads: ’My personal observation: Yoruba women seem to be the most cultured women in Nigeria — their ability to be educated, successful and still hold conservative family values is consistent. 

"There’s something beautiful about a woman never outgrowing conservative roles in marriage, and still upholding femininity. 

"It’s quite ironic because I also consider the Yoruba tribe to be the most progressive tribe in Nigeria.''
