2027: No Southern Candidate Can Defeat Tinubu Except GEJ - Activist, Deji Adeyanju Says

Lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has predicted that, ahead of the 2027 general election, no Southern presidential candidate stands a chance of defeating President Tinubu—except former President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a post shared on his X handle, Adeyanju said the best ticket from the coalition group to defeat Tinubu in the 2027 election should be a Goodluck Jonathan/Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket or a younger Northerner paired with Peter Obi.

He argued that Atiku will not excite the younger voters and so might lose their votes.

This prediction has sparked a debate online with many arguing for or against his submission.
