
Bandits have reportedly launched separate attacks on two communities in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, k!lling three people and abducting an unspecified number of residents.
Security analyst Bakatsine, in a post via 𝕏 on Saturday, disclosed that the first attack happened on Friday, in the Karfi community shortly after Juma’at prayers.
According to the post, one person was k!lled and the attackers took away two other residents.
Just a few hours later, the bandits reportedly launched an attack in Layin Minister.
Two people were k!lled, several others were injured, and many residents were abducted during the second attack.
Bakatsine wrote, “Bandits attacked Karfi after Juma’at, k!lling one and abducting two. Hours later, they hit Layin Minister, k!lled two, several injured and many abducted. All the communities are situated in Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State.”
Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, the authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
