Unknown Assailants Kill Benue Politician

 

A Benue politician, Hon. Sunday Idoko has been k!lled by unknown gunmen.

 

He was k!lled in his home in Otukpo over the weekend.

 

It was gathered that that the victim, who resided on Anmoda Road, Ohimini LGA, was attacked with a machete on the head in his house on Saturday afternoon, August 9, 2025.

 

According to Hon. Emoni Mohammed, a family friend, the incident was reported after Idoko’s children raised the alarm. 

 

His body has been deposited at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Mortuary, Otukpo, for autopsy, while investigations are ongoing to track down the perpetrators.
