Former Big Brother Naija housemate Natacha Akide aka Tacha has urged Nigerians to question their governors, senators, and local government chairmen.
According to her, all blame should not only be directed at President Bola Tinubu.
Tacha stated that governors, senators and LG chairmen also control large sums of money meant for development.
She called on citizens to shift their focus beyond the presidency and hold every public officeholder responsible for their actions.
She said: “44 billion, I didn’t say million, 44 billion has been disbursed to a local government chairman. Watch how they’ll do absolutely nothing with it, because at the end of the day, they understand that Nigerians will come out and drag Tinubu. They’ll come out and drag the presidency.
“Money has been given to your state governors, money has been given to your local government chairman, your House of Reps members, your senators. Hold them by their neck, let them deliver. If you start dragging these people individually, we’ll see that Nigeria will change.”
The August 2025 FAAC meeting had shared ₦2.2 trillion among the three tiers of government, one of the highest allocations in recent years.
