Panic As Suspected Armed Herders K!ll Two Farmers In Benue

No fewer than two farmers lost their lives on Friday, September 26, 2025, after suspected armed herders launched an attack on Naka in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.

According to sources, security forces in Naka received a distress call after Tersue Felix Ape of Akpagher community was ambushed and shot dead while working on his farm.

Responding patrol and tactical teams reportedly recovered two bodies at the scene.

The corpses were photographed and moved to the General Hospital mortuary in Naka.

Investigations have begun, with the State Criminal Investigation Department leading efforts to track down the assailants.
