The Olowu of Iwo, Oba Akanbi, has questioned the way some Africans worship their ancestors.
He shared a photo of a shrine where some Nigerians worshipped their ancestors and made reference of how dirty the shrine looked like.
He asked if African forefathers were really dirty or belonged to the dustbin.
He wrote; ‘’Can anyone be proud to say, This is where and how I honor my Father's and Forefathers....are our forefathers really dirty or do they belong to the dustbin ????
"I believe there are better ways to remember our ancestors like ododo eye( Beautiful flowers) oorun didun(perfumes) and prayers for them
