Drama As Senator Akpabio, Other Lawmakers Burst Into Laughter As He Announces Birthday Of His Colleague, Senator Natasha (Video)

A mild drama played out on the Senate floor on Tuesday, December 9, as Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan celebrated their birthdays on the same day.

It has been the Senate’s tradition for the President to honour senators marking their birthdays by calling their names for recognition and best wishes.

On Tuesday, while calling the names of the December 9 celebrators, Akpabio called his own name, then paused when he got to the name of Akpoti-Uduaghan, saying, “and another person, Distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.”

A trending video shows Senators in unison, burst out laughing as Senator Natasha’s name was mentioned by Akpabio.

Recall that both of Akpabio and Natasha are at loggerheads at the moment and are even in court.
