Minister of Defence, Retired General Christopher Musa, has shared a personal account of his journey to national leadership, crediting divine intervention for his rise despite facing significant challenges.
Speaking at a Sunday service at Conquerors Global Assembly in Abuja, Musa described his journey as a testament to God’s power to lift individuals even when others may conspire against them.
During the service, which he attended with his wife, the Minister expressed deep appreciation for the church’s founder, Bishop David Abioye. Reflecting on the events of the past year, Musa noted that trials are often necessary precursors to personal and professional growth.
He encouraged the congregation to remain hopeful, stating: “We give God the glory for what has happened this year. Even when the enemy thought they were putting us down, they did not know God was going to lift us up. In their small mind they conspired and thought they had won. But as long as you have God as your pillar, you will win.”
The Minister emphasized that while Nigerians are inherently strong, their true strength is amplified when united under God. He called on citizens to maintain a positive outlook on the nation, warning that constantly "talking down" on the country hinders its development.
Musa urged Nigerians to continue praying for their leaders and the country’s stability. He further challenged fellow Christians to ensure their actions reflect their faith, stressing that real influence in society comes from living out one's beliefs with integrity and dedication.
