Fatima, daughter of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has claimed that her father’s secretary, Tunde Sabiu, wielded excessive influence in the presidency during his tenure.
Tunde Sabiu, Buhari’s nephew, was reportedly close to him during his administration.
Sabiu is reportedly the brain behind the naira redesign policy prior to the 2023 general elections.
Fatima, in a post on Tuesday via her 𝕏, claimed that Sabiu had so much power in the presidency.
She wrote, “My father’s former private secretary, Tunde Sabiu, had too much power during Buhari’s presidency.”
Reacting to the post, an 𝕏 user, Ahmad Sadeeq, slammed her, stating that she is using her father’s name to chase clout.
Sadeeq wrote, “You are using Buhari’s family name to chase clout. Allow him and his family to rest abeg.”
