AFCON: The Boys Are Going To Make Us Proud – Kanu Nwankwo Speaks On Nigeria vs Algeria Clash (Video)

Nigerian football legend, legend Nwankwo Kanu has declared that God is on Nigeria’s side as the Super Eagles prepare to take on Algeria in Saturday’s AFCON quarter-final.

The former Nigeria international also called on Nigerians to support the Super Eagles to victory against the Desert Foxes.

Nigeria and Algeria will clash in the AFCON last-8 fixture Saturday evening for a place in the semi-final.

In a video post on his X account, Kanu said: “Nigeria vs Algeria. Very important game, the boys are ready.

“They are going to make us proud. Let’s all [Nigerians] come together and support them, pray for them, and we wish them all the best.

“We are going through by God’s grace. Hey! Boys! We are proud of you, keep working hard and give everything. We believe God is with us. I wish you all the best.”
